The Antique Caterpillar Machinery Enthusiasts Club will be holding their Spring Fling again this year at Steve Lippoldt's place in Belle Plaine KS. ACME members come from all over the country to attend. Several members bring their own equipment. This year they will be working on a pond dam or similiar project. This is a great chance to come out and watch some wonderful antique machines doing what they were built for... work. Make sure and bring the kids or grandkids as the guys love to give them rides! Also bring a cooler and some food as these guys love to play all day long.

The K and O Chili/Soup Supper held on Jan. 31st at the Cowley County Fairgrounds with the theme "In the Good Old Summertime" turned out to be true. Temperatures were in the high 70's and everyone was ready to get out and have a good time. Prizes of table centerpieces were won by Ariel Feather, Brenda Underwood, Mike Patton, Linda Keasling, Marlene Jansen and Kelly Topper.
I will add that Ariel Feather took hers to Show and Tell at school a few days later.

Great food and great fun! Thanks to everyone who helped decorate and bring all that yummy food!

Offical Club Name

It was brought to my attention that the club name and acronym usage was inconsistent throughout the website. I spoke with the club officers at the last meeting and this was the final decision:

Kansas and Oklahoma Steam & Gas Engine Association
KandOS&GEA

From this point forward all references on the website will be made as such.
