The Wilson County Old Iron Club had its beginnings as a rather small tractor show at the annual Homecoming Celebration in Fredonia, which is held each year on the first weekend in October. It has now grown into a larger show held on the last weekend in September with even more exhibits added to the show.
The education of children in the former ways of farming and farm life remains a primary objective of the club.
There is something of interest for every member of the family. Some of the demonstrations even have hands-on participation.
