It was brought to my attention that the club name and acronym usage was inconsistent throughout the website. I spoke with the club officers at the last meeting and this was the final decision:

KandOS&GEA

From this point forward all references on the website will be made as such.

Floyd Moore, president of the Kansas & Oklahoma Steam and Gas Engine Association, fills the radiator of his 1927 Wallis tractor. The gas-powered tractor is one of six Moore plans to display at the K&O show, which starts Friday morning.

Kids Day 2008

KandOS&GEA presents KIDS DAY 2008
Date: October 8th 2008
Location: KandOS&GEA Club Grounds (
MAP)
Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

This is a KandOS&GEA community educational program packed with fun and learning for 3rd-5th grade students from Kansas and Oklahoma schools. KandOS&GEA club members will be demonstrating some of the unique aspects of farm life from the 1900's. Kids will have the opportunity to watch, listen, touch, and smell the history that KandOS&GEA is dedicated to preserve. Threshing wheat, milling grain, churning butter and blacksmithing are just some of the exciting exhibits that club members will be sharing with the kids.
